The Proliferation of Order

The expanses of white canvas function simultaneously as chambers of memory and as vacuum-sealed laboratories. These paintings balance on the threshold between order and proliferation—where the discipline of geometry meets the unpredictability of living structures. Grass, turf, insects, and the world of minute forms are present not as subjects, but as the internal organizing principle of the works themselves.

The Proliferation of Order is not a contradiction; rather, it refers to a process in which systems grow, and growth itself becomes a system. Nature appears here as a model of thought, a field in which human attention and the intrinsic laws of the world briefly arrive at a state of equilibrium.

The paintings are quiet and reserved, yet they remain in constant motion, forming a kind of lifeless tissue. What is visible always points beyond itself: order becomes animate. This is a contemplative form of order, a play of fragments from the living world upon the sterile surface of the canvas—nature rendered as an idea displaced from space and time.

The restraint of the monochrome surfaces reduces the language of painting to its essentials. Repetition and the rhythm of subtle variations therefore assume a central role within the exhibited works.
